GP Fund Mark Up Rate Notification 2021-2022 of Punjab Govt

Government of Punjab, Finance Department has issued the official Notification No. FD(L)1-249/81-82(Part-I) on August 17, 2022 regarding the Markup Rate of GP Fund General Provident Fund for the Year 2021-2022. It has been decided 12.40% Per Annum.

SUBJECT: RATE OF MARK-UP ON STATE PROVIDENT FUND i.e. GENERAL PROVIDENT FUND FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022.

I am directed to refer to this department’s letter even number dated August 17, 2021 on the subject cited above and to state that it has been decided that a profit rate of 12.40% per annum shall apply during the financial year 2021-2022 to the State Provident Fund. This rate, however, shall not apply in the case of subscribers who are entitled, under the rules of particular fund, to a different rate of interest.
