Special Additional Allowance Notification 2002 of KPK Govt

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Finance Department issued a Special Additional Allowance Notification No FD (PRG) 1-1/2000 on August 10, 2002. The notification is related to the clarification of this allowance. The Allowance is not admissible to the Contingent Paid Staff. It is also not for  admissible to staff on daily wages, Work charge, or contract basis.

Subject: –    GRANT OF SPECIAL ADDITIONAL ALLOWANCE.

I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that references are being received in this Department seeking advice on the admissibility of Special Additional Allowance to contract employees. In this context, attention is invited to this Department’s circular bearing No. FD (PRC) 1-1/99 dated November 22, 1999, wherein it has been categorically stated that Special Additional Allowance is not admissible to the Contingent Paid Staff and persons employed on daily wages, Work charge, or contract basis.

2. I am further directed to invite attention to Para 4 of the Pay and Pension Scheme 2001 circular dated October 27, 2001, wherein the Special Additional Allowance has been frozen at the level drawn on the said date and to state that in terms of clarification issued vide subsequent letter of even number dated November 15, 2001, the said allowance shall not be admissible to the Civil employees recruited on or after 1-12-2001.
3. These instructions may be brought to the notice of all concerned for strict compliance accordingly.
