Upgradation of Stenographer in Sindh Notification 2013

The Sindh Finance Department issued a notification of the Upgradation of the posts of Stenographer in vide No FD(SR-IV)4-2/2009 dated 11-04-2013.

In this notification, the Junior Scale Stenographer and Stenographers of the District Judiciary have been upgraded from BPS-12 to BPS-15. This upgrade is effected from 01-07-2012.

Subject: Upgradation For the Post of Junior Scale Stenographer / Stenographer (BPS-12) For District Judiciaries

In pursuance of the judgment dated 24.12.2012 passed by the Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan in Civil Appeals No. 179-K/2011 and 181-K/2011, the Finance Department agrees to allow the upgradation of the posts of Junior Scale Stenographers / Stenographers from BPS-12 to BPS-15, who are working with the District Judiciary of the Province of Sindh, with effect from 01-07-2012.

However, the incumbents of the upgraded posts will also stand upgraded and their pay will be fixed at the stage next above their respective basic pay in their lower pay scales with effect from 01-07-2012.

The Administrative Department will amend the Recruitment Rules accordingly.
