Details of the WAPDA Internship Program

The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) is offering a fantastic opportunity for graduate students to gain valuable professional experience through its Internship Program. This program provides a platform for young professionals to enhance their portfolios and meet their academic requirements while working alongside experienced individuals in one of Pakistan’s most reputable organizations.

Eligibility Criteria

• Fresh or recent graduates (maximum 3 years)
• Maximum age limit of 26
• Minimum CGPA of 2.8
• Must be from HEC-recognized universities or concerned boards

Application Process

• Interested candidates can apply online through the Google Form link provided on the WAPDA official website: www.wapda.gov.pk/career.
• The last date for submission of applications is November 8, 2024.
• Applications with incomplete or incorrect information or received after the deadline will be rejected.
• Applications submitted by hand will not be entertained.

Seat Allocation

• 20 seats will be allocated through open merit.
• The remaining 30 seats will be allocated based on provincial quota:
  • Punjab: 6 seats
  • Sindh: 6 seats
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 6 seats
  • Gilgit Baltistan: 3 seats
  • Balochistan: 3 seats
  • Azad Kashmir: 3 seats
  • Ex-FATA: 3 seats

Instruction and General Conditions

• Successful completion of the internship program does not guarantee employment.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for interviews.
• Candidates must have a working bank account registered in their name.
• Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.
• WAPDA reserves the right to withhold or cancel applications at any stage without assigning any reasons.
