CM Punjab’s Muree Rooftop Rainwater Harvesting Project announced in Express Newspaper dated 20-10-2024. The Murree Rooftop Rainwater Harvesting Project, a special initiative by the Chief Minister of Punjab, is set to make a significant impact on the lives of residents in Murree. This project aims to provide rainwater harvesting units to 1100 low-income households in the region, ensuring a sustainable and reliable water supply.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the project, households must meet certain criteria.

The property size should be 3, 4, or 5 marla, and it must be a residential property located within the boundaries of Murree district.

Additionally, the property must be owned or rented for a minimum period of 10 years.

The household must also have a place to install a water tank (300 or 500 gallons) and consume less than 100 units of electricity.

Application Process

Interested residents can apply for the project by downloading the application form from https://e.balloting.murreerooftop.urbanunit.gov.pk/

The completed form can then be submitted online, by post, or in person to the Municipal Committee Murree, Municipal Committee Kotli Sattian, or Urban Unit Office Murree. Along with the application form, applicants must submit copies of their CNIC, photographs, electricity, water, and gas bills, a copy of the tenancy agreement or declaration letter for long-term tenants, and three clear photographs of the house.

Important Instructions

Applicants must strictly adhere to the eligibility criteria and ensure that they meet all the requirements. The applicant must be the owner of the house, and their CNIC should not be expired. Additionally, all utility bills should be paid, and the applicant should not have any outstanding dues. It is crucial to submit all necessary documents along with the application.

The last date for submitting applications is November 15, 2024.
