School Opening Notification of Education Department Punjab issued on 8th Jan 2024 vide No. SO(A-I)1-31/2008(P-I) dated 8th January 2024. The Punjab School Education Department decided to reopen all private and public schools shall reopen on 10 January 2024. The School starts at 09:30 AM till 22nd January 2024.

No. SO(A-I)1-31/2008(P-I)

In continuation of this department’s notification No. SO(A-I)1-31/2008(P-I) dated 30-12-2023, all Private and Public schools shall reopen on 10th January 2024. However, schools shall start at 9:30 AM till 22nd January 2024. Normal School timing shall be observed from 23rd January 2024.

2. The students are allowed to wear any warm clothing, sweeter, jackets and caps, etc, and any shoes for protection against the cold weather.

3. All Chief Executive Officers (DEAs) in Punjab are directed to ensure compliance with the directions.
